I'm glad to see Kino's back up, although I won't be watching it anytime soon at least it's nice to see that the show is not failing all the time.

What is up with Osomatsu-san though? I'm not caught up, but even though it's not as strong as the first season, from what I have seen it's still not bad. What happened?

Looks like Land of the Lustrous conquest is finally beginning for real. I'm expecting it to stick to that #1 position like glue.

Seriously, are people deliberately downvoting Mr. Osomatsu?! Shocked If you look at the charts it seems like the show is getting worse with every ep., yet neither the reviews nor the comments seem to mirror that.

I know it has a limited fanbase but i don't think that can quite explain the low ratings, unless most of that fanbase consists of hate-watchers...you'd think that people who are not into this kind of humour would have stopped watching by now and i don't think there's been a considerable drop in quality compared to season 1 either, quite to the contrary.

I can't say i've ever really understood these ranking, but that just seems really odd...

What the hell is with Osomatsu-san's rating? It's nowhere as bad as Dies irae or King's Game. The show is hilarious like Gintama if not even more so I don't get this. I've checked lots of forums and the reception doesn't seem at all like what this list is implying.

Isn't it because of the small fanbase? The higher shows have more people voting so they got more support to rise up right?

edit: nvm i didn't see just how low it was Laughing . yea that is weird.

I could be totally wrong, but as an outsider (never watched season one), I don't get why people are so surprised and bothered that Osomatsu is not doing well in these rankings. Season 1 was a big hit in Japan, but it never resonated over here (North America). So, it is only logical for season 2 to NOT be performing well in the charts.

But that just mean not a lot of people are watching it. It doesn't reflect the actual quality of the show, which is definitely no where near the level of the lower ranking ones.

I wonder if it's another victim of that stupid downvoting thing that happened last year with a few other shows.

I never said anything about quality. These rankings reflect popularity, but they do not necessarily reflect actual quality.

But that doesn't really explain why it was so highly ranked at the beginning of the season. If it was just that it isn't popular, wouldn't it have been low from the beginning?

Like others I haven't seen any indications that people have thought the episodes have gotten worse as the season has gone on, so I agree the trend seems curious.

It's more like a mixture of both, if the ranking only reflects popularity you wouldn't be seeing Land of the Lustrous as #1 on this week's list.

That makes no sense. Then Boruto should be way higher since it's way more popular and gets a lot of traffic based on reviews.

It's still very much under-watched if statistic from multiple sites are anything to go by. People are just talking about it precisely because it is under-watched and because it's actually good.

That's just based on traffic tho. It could be a lot of people giving low scores.
