Hmm pretty cool that Comixology is doing that.
I have to say, as much as the art looks freaking fantastic that plot does nothing for me, so I'll probably be skipping it. For whatever reason, western stuff that tries really hard to be Japanese bugs me a lot. Inspiration is fine and good, but you gotta do your own thing too. Something like Scott Pilgrim had a good balance I think. Definetly was inspired by manga and anime but it had it's own identity the entire way through. |

Those character designs are really ugly. I doubt this is going to do well in Japan.
