Not necessarily abec's, but how the designer adapted abec's design's to the anime. Like I get Yuna vibes or like some of the Alicization Heroines from the two girls here.

both my Yuri sense and harem alarm bells are going off. The two girls look like they could be gay(hoping), but I know harem series tend to advertise the girls, usually not even showing the guys on the cover. Hoping the first sense is right, or if it's just gay subtext

Interesting. I Want to believe that the ben-to writter always wanted to make a yuri story, which is why in ben-to's anime there were many yuri scenes between the girls. It's strange that there are so many yuri scenes when really that the story was about a generic boy.

The designs here do heavily remind me of a lot of the key visuals we've seen from SAO over the years.
