I don't understand how anyone can feel it's worth investing time or money in these anime mobile games when they almost always end service within a year. I briefly considered trying this game when it first launched, but then I thought, "What's the point?" And I also don't understand how it's financially feasible for a company to spend time and money creating games that won't last. Is it just a matter of throwing new games at a dartboard and hoping one of them sticks the landing, or do they go into these games thinking they'll be financially worthwhile even if they also expect it to end service fairly quickly?

Occasionally one managed to have a see decent life cycle and make their companies money. Just look at Dragon Ball, Dokkan Battle and Legends have been around for ten and seven years respectively, despite the former operating on a shoestring budget, and have been at the top of the app store charts plenty of times.
Sure they miss more often than they hit, but that's true of a lot of media in the modern age. That one hit is where you make up your money on all those loses though. |

Yo, I was hoping for a new anime season of Black Clover not a stupid game, When are they gonna mention a new season already, they should’ve had plenty of time to do it already?!!!!!!

I'm with you mate.... I was scrolling down the site & saw Black Clover & immediately thought its a greenlight for an anime continuation. Then my hopes were immediately dashed by the article title. I'm still following the manga via the Jump+ app & while there is definitely enough content for a new season, the series is going at a snail's pace due to the current release schedule - like 3 months per chapter. Still, here's hoping we get a new season soon. |

Lets forget about that it was a bad idea to do a live service game. But the new season has been created and the manga is basically on hiatus. There is not enough traction to keep a live service game going.
