That means it almost certainly won't be out in time for Fanime Con 
EDIT: Also, look at the new movie's official poster. IT'S THE SAME POSTER AS THE LAST ONE BUT WITH ASUKA AND MARI IN IT. I'm predicting that the poster for the last one will show the same building but heavily dilapidated and with certain characters missing who've died or moved away |

But at least kaworu fans get to see more of him though. Kinda random I know but did anyone else ever notice that asuka had so little time in the opening animation of the original series? I didn't notice until recently because I never was a big fan of her anyway. |

Huh...well that's no good. Honestly, I can't find it surprising though. '08 ends in a few months, and they still hadn't given a date. Still, I would have hoped for winter, or even a spring, release. Whatever though, hopefully come this time next year I'll be able to find it somewhere. Until then, I'm going to sit here hoping that someone brings 1.0 over to the States, possibly with a cool collectors edition of some sort.

yup I really want that licensed in america. I do find it hard to believe that no one is looking at it. "Get on it ADV!" I really want them to get it.

Yes I do because I'm not sure anyone else (besides maybe funimation) would know how to treat that cash cow.) Lets hope bandai doesn't get it and we get a $50 movie that gets recalled or anything like that.

Hey, wow, I kinda like what they're doing with the official poster. I think that's pretty darn neat.
I really didn't expect it to take until mid-2009 to release the 2nd movie. I was in Japan this spring to early summer and was expecting to get to see it in theaters like the first one! Oh well. Evangelion mania isn't over yet in Akihabara, I suppose. |

They're sure taking their sweet time. What, did they call up Stagelight and ask how they were handling the Hellsing Ultimate?
Anyway, looking forward to it. The first was a beautifully rendered version of old material, this next one should be better, considering its veering off from the original story somewhat. |
