I'm a little surprised Stein from Soul Eater didn't make the list, he's the first person I thought of when I saw the title. Then again there are a lot of mad scientists in anime so it must have been hard narrowing it down.

You should change in Nina Einstein's description that the F.L.E.I.J.A., though unnamed and imperfect at the time, was what she attempted to use to obliterate the Tokyo Settlement. Just a suggestion

My thought as well, especially seeing how Stein's based on one of the original mad scientists. On the other hand, Stein's more of a "not sciencey madman" as he's more known for his fighting, his desire to disect his students and his insanity. And in the list, they got to come up with something good and mad, an invention or WMD which Stein certainly lacks. Though one that does have it, and is totally insane at that, is Dr. Goldtooth from FMA. He should have made the list for creating the Fuhrer, scratch that, he should have made the list for his eyes alone. It was like he had two glass eyes or something {Did he?}. Beyond that, it's an interesting list though it's hard to see how it ranks between total bonkers and absolute evil scientists; It's one thing to be crazy and smart, it's a whole different story to be crazy, smart and evil. |

Coincidentally enough, he does share a va with Minaka who was listed. Also while mad, Stein is still a good guy. |

I know this has been asked before, but can the column title be changed from "The List" to "Lynzee's List"? Before, when it was "Gia's List", it was made quite clear that this was Gia's opinions. However, now that it's "The" list, it gives the impression that this is meant to be more of a "top" or "definitive" list. Given that every single week I (and others) have had major objections to those on and/or missing from the list, the impression that it's "The" list makes it feel that those of us who disagree are wrong.
This is also the only non-review column (that I can think of) that is 100% subjective (as opposed to primarily news-based information) and does not carry the columnists name in the title. |

Hey, who says mad scientists have to be evil, huh? HUH?! Discrimination, I tell ya, everyone always so prejudiced against us. Just a few bad apples here and there, and people act like every mad scientist is out to blow up the planet or something! That's why I was happy to see a heroic mad scientist like Okabe on the list. He does us all proud. 
Ahem. Uh, naturally, this is the best list Lynzee has ever done, though I do regret the lack of Dr Stein from Soul Eater, especially since he's yet another good (if very unstable and close to turning) mad scientist. One other note, something weird happened with the formatting of the poll results from last week. Number 2 is listed as: "Kon (Bleach) (My Little Monster) 26.8%" Kon is listed for 2 shows, and I'm pretty sure he isn't in the second one there. Though I do wonder what My Little Monster would be like if Kon joined the cast. |

Hah, Kyuubey easily won last week's poll but this week's poll is really a difficult one. There are so many to choose from.
I eventually went with Nishiura Baseball Team (Big Windup!) which was closely tied with Taisho Baseball Girls. |

Haru would probably beat the stuffing out of him for trying to look at Shizuku's panties. Glad Okabe, Naoko, Miyo, and Tomoe are on the list but too bad for Stein (Soul Eater) or that guy with the Crazy Eyes from FMA. I choose Big Windup! instead of Kuroko's Basketball because, honesty, those are the only two sports anime I've seen so far but Big Windup! has more memorable team members. |

That's exactly what I thought too, and I don't see a reason why he couldn't just make it a "10 More Than Slightly Mad Scientists" list rather than a "9 More Than Slightly Mad Scientists" just so he could include Stein. |

I really would have liked to see mad scientist protagonist Techno of Don't Leave Me Alone, Daisy. The boy makes pets out of ballistic missiles, for starters.
