Woah, this announcement seems to be pretty last minute if the anime's announced for the Spring 2014 animes. Curious to see a promo video since it's apparently a mech series with the following people working on it.

Keep in mind that the original Aquarion was also extremely silly and she had nothing to do with that one. It'd be weird if the first show was a wacky, over-the-top pseudo-comedy and the second one was a dead serious mecha.

Hmm. Was it so embarrassingly poor in sales that no one recalls that AKB0048 was created by Kawamori and Okada at Satelight? (I personally LOVED AKB0048... and for me Okada is kind of hit and miss.) I am also a huge fan of Junichi Sato, so I’m eager to see what this combination produces.

Personally i enjoyed Evol i guess everyone was freaking out by gender swap Mix and Toma gets eternal love.

Anyone recall Muv-Luv Total Eclipse?
No one has any idea how much that show murdered the franchise.
At first i was like Satelight HELL YES how can this possibly go wrong?
And then it happened..
And i was pretty pumped at hearing this group of people but now that i think about it this staff sounds perfect for akb0048 season 3..
