And fairly hot at that - hit 37C in the NSW Southern Highlands yesterday ...

I really think that all seasonal references (esp. in article titles) should be qualified with the hemisphere they're for. So NEWS: More Titles Announced for AnimeLab Summer (Southern) Season or something like that.

Or just go with the month: NEWS: More Titles Announced for AnimeLab January Season. After all, we're almost halfway through summer.

Or maybe go by calendar quarters - NEWS: More Titles Announced for AnimeLab Q1 Season.

It's confusing but ANN plus most other sites have the tendency to label anime seasons the way the nothern hemisphere does (meaning it's currently the winter 2016 anime season). Even AnimeLab labels their current simulcasts as "winter 2016", if you've seen their simulcast calendar, so I don't think there's any need to change it.

If you were to add "Southern", I know you mean "Southern Hemisphere" but it could refer to southern anywhere and it would only confuse people more. Same with Q1 season. AnimeLab only operates for southern hemisphere countries anyway (Aus. and NZ) so there's no confusion if you just specify that AnimeLab is doing these simulcasts.

Well, looks like I'll be spending a lot more time on AnimeLab. Think that they've grabbed everything that I'm interested in for the new season.

It's not so much "Northern Hemisphere" as it is specifically the season in Japan.
