Funimation, Hulu to Stream Simulcast of My Hero Academia Anime's 4th Season on October 12

Funimation announced on Thursday that it and Hulu will begin streaming the My Hero Academia anime's fourth season with English subtitles on October 12, the same day as it premieres in Japan. Funimation will stream the anime in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia. Funimation will also stream an English simuldub at an as-yet unannounced date.

The new season covers the manga's Hero Intern arc that began in the 14th volume. The season will premiere in Japan on October 12, and will air on YTV and NTV on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m.

New cast members include Shinichiro Miki as Sir Nighteye, Rie Murakawa as Bubble Girl, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Fat Gum, and Seiran Kobayashi as Eri.

Blue Encount (Banana Fish, Gintama 2015 and 2017) is performing the opening theme song "Polaris," and Sayuri (ERASED, Golden Kamuy) is performing the ending theme song "Kōkai no Uta" ("About a voyage").
