Description:
Young Japan is a series of five hard-hitting & controversial titles from the greatest Japanese directors, each with a different volume of the anime Salaryman Kintaro. First in this series is the Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Full Metal Yakuza) classic, Young Thugs: Innocent Blood, which comes with Salaryman Kintaro Part One.

Young Thugs: Innocent Blood
A Takashi Miike film that is to a degree autobiographical, Young Thugs - Innocent Blood follows three friends through their first year after leaving school. This is a story of rough kids trying to find their way in the world, a world of violence, sentiment, and comedy - in a film that moves at a cracking pace from the opening shot.

Salaryman Kintaro 1
Salaryman Kintaro Part 1 deals with former biker gang leader Kintaro joining the Yamato Construction Corporation and introduces the characters as well as looking back to his days of leaving a biker gang. It also shows him beginning to be accepted as a gang leader within the corporation despite his unorthodox methods and takes time to suggest romantic involvements.

Spoken Languages: Japanese, English subtitles.
