In the above three videos, Japanese artist Yoshitoshi ABe (Serial Experiments Lain character designer, Welcome to the NHK illustrator, Haibane Renmei original creator) colors and shades a digital illustration. The illustration adorned the cover of C.H.R2010, the dōjinshi (self-published work) that ABe's circle sold at Tokyo's Comic Market 79 convention on December 31.
