Videogame features robots from Gurren Lagann, Geass, Votoms, others

The official website for the Japanese game magazine Famitsu began streaming a promotional video for Super Robot Wars Z II: Hakai-Hen, Banpresto's PSP game featuring robots from a wide variety of anime franchises, on Wednesday. The video for the simulation role-playing game is not embeddable but can be watched at Famitsu's website.

Last week, Famitsu revealed that this first part in the two-part Super Robot Wars Z sequel would add characters and robots from anime titles such as Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, and Votoms to its robot line-up. The game series already included elements from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, Macross Frontier, The Big O, and others.

Bandai Namco Games and Banpresto will release the game in Japan on April 14.
