Dragon Quest X Site Opens with Promo Video

The official website for Square Enix's Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online role-playing game opened on Thursday with a promotional video in Flash and QuickTime formats. The same video debuted at the September 5 press conference that unveiled the game, but the new site has the footage in high-definition direct from the source.
The video highlights the five races — ogre, wedi, elf, dwarf, and pukuripo — from which each player can create their characters. The video also notes that franchise creator Yuji Horii is serving as general director, while character designer Akira Toriyama and composer Kōichi Sugiyama also return.
The game will ship for the Wii console next year, while the Wii U version will be released at a date to be determined.
