Maaya Sakamoto Sings Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Theme

Voice actress Maaya Sakamoto will not only play the heroine in the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled anime project, but she will also perform its theme song. Acclaimed composer Yōko Kanno and lyricist Yuho Iwasato — the same team that created Sakamoto's debut song "Yakusoku wa Iranai" as The Vision of Escaflowne anime's opening theme — are reuniting for Sakamoto's new song.
Sakamoto will play Reira Marukaru, a former noblewoman of Britannia and the Waivan unit commander. Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (Code Geass: Bōkoku no Akito) is the finalized title for the project tentatively known as Code Geass Gaiden: Bōkoku no Akito.
