"Many 39s Giving Day" concert tie-in campaign to offer exclusive promo items

The convenience store chain FamilyMart announced on Thursday that the Vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku will "hijack" four stores as part of her "Many 39s Giving Day" (Miku no Hi Dai-Kanshasai) concert event from March 3 to March 10.

Each store will feature special Hatsune Miku decorations during the promotion and offer a different exclusive item to each customers who spends at least 390 yen (about US$4.80). People must visit the four shops near Tokyo Dome City Hall on March 8 or 9, the concert days, in order to receive one of the 8,000 total items. Each store will have 1,000 items to give away per day, and there will be a limit of one per person.
