Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor Game's Trailers Streamed

Xbox 360 sequel to feature multi-player, Kinect functionality in June

The official CAPCOM Unity website began streaming a Captivate and a co-op gameplay video for From Software and CAPCOM's Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor (Jū-Tekki) mecha simulation action game on Tuesday. CAPCOM previewed the game at Captivate, its annual media showcase event that took place in Rome last week. The videos introduce the story and highlight the game's new online multi-player mode.

The game serves as a sequel to CAPCOM's Steel Battalion (Tekki) game franchise. However, unlike the previous Steel Battalion entries, From Software (Armored Core) is developing the game. It is also CAPCOM's first title that is compatible with the Kinect "controller-free" 3D device for the Xbox 360 game console, instead of the previous games' exclusive controller.

CAPCOM will release the game for the Xbox 360 on June 19 in North America, on June 21 in Japan, and on June 22 in Europe.
