Kingdom Hearts Gets DIY Jewelry Experience This Spring

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

K. Uno's character jewelry and accessory brand U-Treasure announced on Thursday that it is holding a do-it-yourself Kingdom Hearts jewelry event from March 16 to May 8. Fans of the franchise can visit one of two stores to participate in a unique jewelry-making opportunity.

Participants can choose from 25 different designs to engrave on a ring, necklace, or bangle bracelet. A silver ring will cost 20,520 yen (about US$192), a silver necklace will cost 21,600 yen (about US$202), and a silver bracelet will cost 23,760 yen (about US$222). Rings in platinum or 18-carat yellow, pink, or white gold will also be available for different prices.

The experience will take about two hours, and it will be available at the U-Treasure store in Shinjuku, Tokyo and at the K. Uno Order-Made Salon Meitetsu in Nagoya. Aprons and all required equipment will be provided, but participants are asked to wear clothes that can get dirty. The finished jewelry will be delivered to participants about two weeks after they craft it in a store.

U-Treasure offers a wide variety of jewelry inspired by anime, manga, and game franchises. The company released a Kingdom Hearts engagement ring, wedding bands, and necklaces last June.
