Game-Based Sengoku Basara Anime's Promo Posted Online

The official website for the anime adaptation of Capcom's Sengoku Basara (Devil Kings) action-adventure game franchise began streaming a promotional movie on Sunday. (In the linked page, select the "Movie" button on the bottom.) CAPCOM confirmed in October that Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers) and director Itsuro Kawasaki (Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE The Movie: Princess of the Birdcage Kingdom, Yumedamaya Kidan) are adapting its game into a television anime series. Kazuya Nakai, Souichiro Hoshi, and Norio Wakamoto will reprise their game roles as the Warring States Period figures Date Masamune, Sanada Yukimura, and Oda Nobunaga, respectively. The series will premiere in Japan in April.
