Bandai Entertainment Denies 5 cm per Second License

Statement follows report of Bang Zoom's dubbing for Makoto Shinkai's film
The North American distributor Bandai Entertainment has told ANN on Monday that "we do not have" Makoto Shinkai's acclaimed 5 Centimeters Per Second anime film, despite a report from the Fanboy Review website last week that Bang Zoom! Entertainment is re-dubbing the film for the distributor. ADV Films has confirmed on Monday that it "no longer holds the rights to 5 Centimeters Per Second." ADV Films notified retailers last July that it discontinued the title. ANN is awaiting a comment from Bang Zoom! Entertainment on whether it is re-dubbing the film.
