Blogger Reportedly to Be Paid for Posting about Natsu no Arashi

Pay-per-post program said to offer 1,000-yen Amazon JP certificate per blog post

The unofficial Neko to Negima! to Seiyū-san blog reports on Sunday that King Record's Starchild division asked the blog's maintainer and a select number of other bloggers to write about this April's Natsu no Arashi! television anime series in a "pay-per-post" program. For each post of 300 characters or more that links to the anime's official website, the bloggers are said to receive an Amazon Japan gift certificate worth 1,000 yen (about US$10) "as a present." These bloggers have to make the posts by a deadline of April 2, three days before the anime premieres on Japanese television. Such posts can be identified by the insertion of the following image tag in the HTML code for tracking purposes: "<img src="http://www.writeup-cp.com/beacon/072.gif" width="1" height="1" border="0">" (This image tag is not actually included in this article.) Starchild has not confirmed or denied the allegation.

Neko to Negima! to Seiyū-san is the same anime information blog that first revealed Kodansha's announcement of a second original anime DVD series for the Negima! manga and anime franchise.
