UK's ITV Close to Signing Deal for Hulu Video Site

Variety magazine reports that the British television broadcaster ITV is close to signing a deal to import the Hulu video-streaming service and its programming into the United Kingdom. According to the magazine, Hulu is offering ITV an equity stake of 25% or more in the British version of Hulu, in exchange for access to ITV's own programming. Hulu is a joint venture of News Corporation, NBC Universal, and Disney-ABC which features many popular anime series such as Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, One Piece, and Fullmetal Alchemist. However, Hulu is officially available only in the United States. If a deal is signed, it will not necessarily cover all the anime content currently on Hulu.
