Inuyasha: The Final Act's Preview Movie Posted

Adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi's manga to simulcast in Japan, U.S. this Saturday

The official website for the InuYasha: The Final Act anime series has begun streaming a 30-second preview movie on Wednesday. The television series will adapt the final 21 compiled book volumes in Rumiko Takahashi's original manga.

The North American anime distributor Viz Media has confirmed at its New York Anime Festival panel on Sunday that it will start simulcasting this anime on Saturday, October 3. The Animax Asia television channel will begin running the same anime series in several Asian countries on October 10 — one week after the Japanese premiere. Takahashi had ended the manga in the Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in June of 2008, and Viz Media publishes the manga in North America.
