Liar Game Film Teaser, Sekirei Recap Video Streamed

The official website for the theatrical film adaptation of Shinobu Kaitani's Liar Game psychological thriller manga has begun streaming a 30-second theatrical trailer. (In the linked page, select the red apple, skip the Flash introduction, and select the "Liar Game Movie" button. The Liar Game: The Final Stage film is set after the second television season based on the manga. In the story, a woman named Nao Kanzaki (Death Note's Erika Toda) is caught in a dangerous high-stakes competition known as "Liar Game," and a genius con artist named Shinichi Akiyama (Hana Yori Dango's Shota Matsuda) comes to Kanzaki's aid.
The second season will premiere in Japan on November 10, and the film will open on February 6, 2010. The Fuji TV On Demand service has already begun streaming a Liar Game Episode 0 spinoff series on October 27.
The official website of the television anime adaptation of Sakurako Gokurakuin's romantic comedy manga is streaming a five-minute digest video of the first anime series. The video will remain online until November 13 to promote the November 4 release of the new CD single "Yakusoku I'm with You/Survive Baby Survive!" A 32-second television commercial for the CD is also online. A second anime series called Sekirei: Pure Engagement was green-lit earlier this year, and the website is still streaming the promotional video for the upcoming anime.
