Sgt. Frog RPG: Knights, Samurai, and Legendary Pirates' promo also posted

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Asa Higuchi's Ookiku Furikabutte (Big Windup!) baseball manga has begun streaming a one-minute promotional video for this spring's Ookiku Furikabutte Second Season on Wednesday.

Funimation acquired the North American rights to the first season of the anime and has released the season's two DVD sets this past August and September. Episodes of the first season are streaming on Hulu.com, Funimation's own website, and ANN. Funimation does not plan to license the second season.

The preview website for the Senkō no Night Raid spy action television anime series has begun streaming its first 15-second "documentary commercial" on Wednesday as well. The commercial shows the footage that the staff shot while scouting locations in Shanghai. The series will premiere in Japan next spring.

The story is set in 1931 in Shanghai, where Japan has dispatched Sakurai Kikan, a special military spy organization that has since been buried in history. Jun Matsumoto (Persona -trinity soul-) is directing the animators at A-1 Pictures on this series. Yutaka Oomatsu (Blood+) is producing the series as the second work in the joint Anime no Chikara initiative between the TV Tokyo broadcasting station and the Aniplex anime production company.

The Gpara.com website has posted a promotional video for Bandai Namco Games' Keroro RPG: Kishi to Musha to Densetsu no Kaizoku (Sgt. Frog RPG: Knights, Samurai, and Legendary Pirates), the first traditional action role-playing game based on the Mine Yoshizaki's Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunsō) science-fiction comedy manga and anime franchise. The game will ship in Japan for the Nintendo DS portable console on March 4. Bandai Namco is using the same Linear Motion Battle System (LMBS) that it also uses in its Tales of… RPG game franchise.
