
The July issue of Tokuma Shoten's
Animage magazine
lists the 64th and final episode of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood anime series on July 4 in Japan. The episode will match the final chapter of the manga, which will be published in the July issue of Square Enix's
Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine on Friday. On May 6, the anime series' director, Yasuhiro Irie,
confirmed via Twitter that original manga creator Hiromu Arakawa had planned the final chapter and that the anime would end in two months.
The official website for the
Sengoku Basara Two anime sequel series had already
confirmed on Monday that the anime will
take Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood's timeslot on July 11.
