Gonzo, Miku Designer Kei Make Copihan Anime for 2011
posted on by Egan Loo
The anime studio Gonzo (Saki, Rosario + Vampire) announced at the Machi Asobi event on Wednesday that it is working with Hatsune Miku character designer Kei on an all-new 2011 original anime called Copihan. The project is a slapstick school comedy set in Tokyo in 2034. The official preview website and Twitter account have already launched.
The manga version of the project has already been running in Jive's Monthly Comic Rush magazine since the January 2011 issue, which shipped last November. The project is the third new anime that Gonzo presented at the event; the other two are the previously announced Last Exile: Ginyoku no Fam (Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-) and Nyanpire The Animation. Just as it did for the other two projects, Gonzo showed a promotional video for Copihan at Machi Asobi; the Gigazine website posted images from the video.
