3rd of Bones' 6-part film series to hit theaters on August 13

The BIGLOBE service began streaming the first eight minutes of the second of Bones' six-part monthly film series Towa no Quon on Friday. The site also began streaming a 43-second promotional video for the third installment, which will hit theaters on August 13.

The first installment in the series opened in theaters on June 18 in Japan, and it will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on August 26. The second film opened in theaters in Japan on July 16. The story of Towa no Quon follows a boy named Quon and others who suddenly wake up with supernatural powers.

The anime studio BONES is producing the film series as the last anime of Umanosuke Iida (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Hellsing), the director who passed away last November. Takeshi Mori (Otaku no Video, Gunsmith Cats, Vandread) is serving as the "collaborative director" in Iida's place.

Fans who watch all six films can receive a special drama CD.
