Eriko Nakamura, Asami Imai, Yumi Hara, Manami Numakura in cooking show for bonus extra

The IDOLM@STER anime's official website announced on Thursday that four castmembers will recreate the fictional television show Gero-Gero Kitchen in live-action. The tentatively titled "Jissha-ban Gero-Gero Kitchen ~Naka no Hito de Yatte Mita~" video extra will be featured on the bonus DVD bundled with the anime's fourth Blu-ray/DVD volume on January 26, 2012.

In the fourth anime episode ("Jibun o Kaeru to Iu Koto"), the aspiring idol singers Haruka Amami, Chihaya Kisaragi, Takane Shijō, Hibiki Ganaha compete on a cable cooking variety show Gero-Gero Kitchen. Castmembers Eriko Nakamura (Haruka), Asami Imai (Chihaya), Yumi Hara (Takane), and Manami Numakura (Hibiki) will star in the live-action version, and Daisuke Sakaguchi will reprise his role as the chairman of the cooking show.

Crunchyroll is streaming this anime adaptation of The IDOLM@STER game franchise in several countries as it airs in Japan. In the original Xbox 360 game The IDOLM@STER 2, the player manages the careers of 10 aspiring Japanese idol singers as a producer.
