Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai Gives Up SCE Chair Post

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) reported that Kazuo "Kaz" Hirai has relinquished his SCE chairperson post as of Monday, although he will retain a part-time position in its board of directors. Since April, Hirai has already been serving in his new role as the President and CEO of Sony overall. SCE is the Sony subsidiary responsible for the videogame business, particularly for the long-running PlayStation brand.
