The crowdfunding and streaming service Anime Sols posted a reminder via Twitter that there are only five hours left on the funding for the first set of the Yatterman DVD release. Thus far, the release has raised US$1,735 of its US$16,000 goal. The deadlines for both Tekkaman and Blue Blink are also approaching within the next few days.
The service also announced that it will stop putting up new episodes for shows that do not get funded, but leave the old episodes up until it launches new shows.
Anime Sols launched in May with a starting lineup that also includes Ninja Robot Tobikage, the Black Jack television anime, the Yatterman 2008 remake, Osamu Tezuka's Marine Express, Fumoon, and Bander Book films, Tekkaman, the Space Knight, and Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel.
Japan's Yomiuri Group announced this crowdsourcing venture with anime studios Pierrot, Tezuka Productions, and Tatsunoko Productions in November.
