4th KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple Video Anime's Promo Streamed

The official website for Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine began streaming the first promotional video for the fourth KenIchi the Mightiest Disciple original video anime (OVA) on Tuesday. The 53rd manga volume will include two new episodes on an original anime DVD. The 12-minute video previews the episode "Utsukushii Tsubasa" (Beautiful Wings), where Kenichi and Shō Kanō battle for Miu's heart. It then previews "Shinigami vs. Akuma" (Death God vs. Devil), which introduces the "first impact" between the Ryōzanpaku elder and Apachai during Miu's childhood.
Hiroshi Ishiodori is once again directing the project at Brains Base, and Eizō Kobayashi wrote the scripts. The cast members are also reprising their roles, led by Tomokazu Seki as Kenichi Shirahama and Rie Kugimiya as Miu Furinji.
The first three OVA were bundled with manga volumes last year.
The manga already inspired a television anime series that Funimation released in North America.
The 53rd manga volume will ship on September 18.
