Nitroplus announced on Sunday that in-house writer Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet) is working on the story for an original television anime project called Aldnoah.Zero this year. He is working again with his Fate/Zero director Ei Aoki (Ga-Rei-Zero, The Garden of Sinners, Hourou Musuko), and A1 Pictures and Troyca are jointly producing the anime.
The project's tagline reads, "Let justice be done. Though the heavens fall." The first key visual is debuting at the Shibuya Q's wall display in Tokyo on Sunday, and it will then be at Animate stores nationwide starting February 18. There will also be a stage event on March 22 at 11:40 a.m. at Anime Japan 2014. Aoki will appear at the event, which will announce the main cast.
