Mugen Souls Z PS3 Game's 2 English Trailers Streamed

Compile Heart's sequel RPG ships in N. America on May 20; Europe on May 23

NIS America began streaming the second and third English trailers on Wednesday for the upcoming game Mugen Souls Z for the PlayStation 3. The second trailer explains how to use Captivate and Ultimate Soul in battle, and the third trailer explains the battle system with the G-Castle.

The company will release the game in limited and standard editions in North America on May 20 and in Europe on May 23. The game will receive a physical and a digital release, with edits to certain aspects "due to the sensitive nature of some content."

NISA describes the game:

Our favorite Undisputed God of the Universe, Chou-Chou, returns with her crew for a brand-new story revolving around the zodiac. Taking place immediately after the first game, you take control of the goddess Sylma, who meets Chou- Chou before the end of the first game's events. Sylma is out to stop an ancient threat to her world that has recently awakened. 9999 levels of maniacal mishaps and ethereal adventures await Sylma, her crew, and hordes of Shampurus as Mugen Souls Z hits Western shores in 2014!

The limited edition will retail for US$69.99 and will include a hardcover art book, a poster, a collector's box, and a keychain. But as of press time, the set is out-of-stock on NISA's official store website. The standard edition of the game is still available for pre-order in NIS America's online store.

Compile Heart released the game in Japan last April. The company also released the original Mugen Souls game in Japan in 2012, and NISA released it in North America and Europe later that year.
