NG Horror Game Gets PS4 Version in Japan on February 21

2nd game in Experience's "spirit horror" series after Death Mark launched on PS Vita in September

Game developer Experience announced on Saturday that it is developing a PlayStation 4 version of NG, the second game in its "spirit horror" series of games.

The game will launch for PS4 in Japan on February 21. The game's physical edition retails for 6,800 yen (about US$60), and the digital version retails for 6,000 yen (about US$53). Those who purchase the first copies of the game will receive a soundtrack a well as an original voice drama titled "How to Make Delicious Coffee" for the first "spirit horror" game, Death Mark (Shiin).

NG originally launched on the PlayStation Vita in Japan on September 13. The story takes place in 1999 in the suburbs of Tokyo, after a certain girl suddenly disappears from the city. This sets the story in motion, and a young man gets wrapped up in a game where he must risk his life. Spirits and other supernatural creatures who are based on folklore and fiction slowly erode his everyday life and transform his common sense. The young man fights against these spirits with a group of outlaws.

Experience shipped Death Mark for PS Vita in June 2017, and then launched a PS4 version on January 18. The game's Nintendo Switch version launched on June 28. The game is inspiring a manga and a novel.

Aksys Games released the game in English on October 31 for the PS4, PS Vita, and Switch. The game has shipped more than 100,000 copies worldwide.
