Vh1 Launches 'AniNation' Anime Programming Block in India

Viacom 18's Vh1 television channel announced on Thursday that it is launching a new programming block titled 'Vh1 AniNation' in India. The programming block will feature curated "diversified content" from the Japanese animation industry.

AniNation will comprise of three segments: AniBites, AniPinion, and Ani-Music. AniBites will offer viewers “a diverse cast of characters, varied themes and genres, and unique animation styles." AniPinion will feature influencers sharing "opinions and perspectives while reviewing new anime." Ani-Music will "shine a spotlight on the genre's iconic composers, musicians, and soundtracks" in a playlist format. The channel is yet to reveal which anime titles it will feature in these segments.
