MELBOURNE, Wednesday, 23 August, 2006 – Due to an incident in the previous season Takumi Fujiwara and the Mizuho basketball team found themselves suspended! Now, with the seniors graduating and player spirits at an all time low, it seems the team is nearing its end.
Enter Kazuhiko Aikawa, a star player from Tendoji, Japan's best high school basketball team. Together they will embark on a journey to rebuild the team with one goal in mind: the National High School Basketball Championships.
Join Aikawa and the team as they journey through competitions with rival teams, throwing down baskets to all challengers, as they struggle towards their ultimate goal.
Hoop Days comes from the producers of INITIAL D and contains many similar story elements. HOOP DAYS COLLECTION contains the entire series in one 5 DVD set. That's over 10 hours of in-your-face basketball action!
