Good-bye Geist: A New Story for America's #1 Source for Original Doujin Manga

NEW YORK, NY – Gen Manga Entertainment, Inc. announces the upcoming release of GEN 6. GEN 6 (ISBN: 978-0-9836134-4-2, Trade Paper, 160 pages, black and white) will be available on Oct 11th, 2011 (www.genmanga.com).

Good-bye Geist, the newest story for the leading edge magazine GEN, presents a new mystery that is engulfing the face of Yuki's high school. And Yuki is caught in the middle. As she battles the exhausting crowds of her daily commute she, like many other young girls in Japan, is sexually violated. All the while, another young boy is secretly filming her and someone is brutally slaughtering cats. What does it all mean? Enigma spins into ever darkening chasms in the newest edition to GEN.

With the newest edition to the underground anthology, Gen Manga Entertainment also meets fan demand with the release of dual single and spread version PDFs available for download. Not only can readers still download and keep original manga on their computer desktops but they can also choose how they want to read it! Single page viewing will now make it easier for fans to read their favorite manga on their favorite reading devices.

GEN is the leading edge of Japanese manga innovation. But will American manga fans prove their support? In a recent news release it appears even major power houses like Shogakukan are taking notice with the (3 months too late for GEN's debut) news release of dual language publication plans. Also, JManga's move for online publication of new titles made news a couple months after GEN's debut. Can underdogs without large corporate backing compete even when they are ahead of the thinking curve? Will American manga fans turn out to support the industry they love so much? Fans can show their support for innovative work at the GEN manga booth at one of the biggest comic and anime festivals in America, the NY Comic Con. GEN will be at the New York Comic Con, booth 2030.

Presenting new indie manga circles from Japan, GEN 6, a monthly publication, will be released in the US on Oct 11th. Digital format for GEN is available now. Based in New York, Gen Manga Entertainment 9www.genmanga.com) endeavors to publish new and unseen graphic work from Japan, being in the unique position to bring readers work first, more original and untamed manga will be sure to come
