Anime Dublin Saturday April 14

Created by Nom-Con and Eirtakon, the two largest anime conventions in Ireland, Anime Dublin is a special one day event taking place this April 14th 2012 at Central Hotel, Dublin (map).

PLEASE READ BELOW FOR ALL DETAILS ON COSPLAY, EVENTS AND TICKETS.

Doors will open at 12.00pm and events will go ...on into the night. Events at Anime Dublin will include:

An exclusive film premiere

Lots of anime screenings

Origami workshop

Talks and panels

Console game tournaments and free play

Party games

An Easter-themed cosplay competition

Late night pub quiz (18+)

DJs until late (18+)

And all for €5! How could you say no? Details of the timetable and specific event info will be released in the coming weeks.

Please note the quiz and DJs are 18+ as there will be a bar for these events.

TICKETS

Starting March 3rd, you can reserve tickets for free! Tickets must be claimed by 1pm. This is to allow other attendees to take the place of someone who is unable to attend Anime Dublin. If you'd like to book a ticket, fill in the form with your name., email, phone number and an estimated arrival time.

COSPLAY

There are a few things you must be made aware of if you wish to cosplay at Anime Dublin and take part in the masquerade!

- First off we have a few rules, nothing serious but makes everyone happy, you can find said rules at http://eirtakon.com/comps/cosplay

- Registration will be taken at the front desk. The registration desk for the cosplay masquerade will be closed at 2pm so make sure you enter on time.

- Anyone will be able to cosplay and join in the fun but to be eligible for the competition your cosplay must have an Easter theme.
