Ah, fantasy fiction. Through most of mankind's existence, these works have inspired us with tales of noble conquest, heroic deeds, and…princesses becoming enslaved by a slimy girl hive mind. Yeah, Elitoria's Princess Knight Alicia and the Slippery, Sticky, Slime is no Gilgamesh or Beowulf, nor does it measure up to most other broadly fantastical hentai. A part of a multi-installment anthology series, this work falls into the trap common to a lot of titles in this format, where it feels pretty same-y and doesn't do enough to distinguish itself from the past entries of a similar tone and nature.
I'd lay out the plot of this hentai, but honestly, the synopsis covers pretty much every detail worth mentioning. While out on patrol in her (I assume) tactical croptop, Princess Knight Alicia is attacked by a slime girl that takes over her body after entering multiple orifices, and then “Slime Alicia” ventures into the castle town and starts bringing other women into the hivemind via similar sexual escapades. This kind of “bad end” story is common of fantasy RPG inspired doujinshi and the Princess Knight Alicia series, though this one doesn't hit as hard as say Demon-Vanquishing Shinobi Alicia and the Womb Tattoo as the version of Alicia in this story experiences such an abrupt and underwhelming ego death at the mid-point of the story.
Moving away from the narrative, I will give Alicia and the Slippery, Sticky, Slime credit for a full color doujin. Full color works of this length are very rare in this space as they require a tremendous amount of extra work compared to standard black and white releases, and I'll give Elitoria credit for going above and beyond here. Unfortunately, that's where my compliments for the visuals of this work end. The expressions and positioning in this work are fairly clunky, and the character designs also feel fairly muted, considering the full and varied spectrum of fantasy RPG artwork it could draw from.
Also, to be perfectly blunt, this work doesn't really do a lot with its Slime Girl premise. I've seen A LOT of fan art exploring how a sexual encounter with this fantasy encounter could play out, and the actual sexual debauchery in Alicia and the Slippery, Sticky, Slime is pretty underbaked by comparison. I could see people who have read all of the other works in this anthology picking this one up thanks to the sunk cost fallacy, but I wouldn't recommend starting with this one or picking it up if you're just a fairweather fan.

Slime porn is interesting because I feel like you can go in so many different directions. Slime play is a legitimate thing, but oftentimes, how a slime monster uses its abilities will vary from story to story. That versatility is definitely a point in the genre's favor, and it also means I can't always predict what the story is going to be about when I see that it is one of the tags associated with it. That being said, despite having a lot of options, I found this story incredibly boring, and I think it just comes down to the fact that it is way too short for all its good.
The titular Alice just gets assaulted by a slime creature, the slime creature takes over her body, and then she uses that body in order to infect other people. That's pretty much it. This is the kind of porn that could be summarized in a tweet, which isn't always a bad thing because sometimes simplicity is key, but considering that this setup is really just there to establish one and a half sex scenes, it really leaves me feeling unsatisfied. The most intense sex scene is right at the beginning, then after that, there are teases and about half a sex scene later, none of which hits the same intensity that the story opens up with.
This is the kind of story that feels like it had more sex scenes planned that ended up getting cut to save time and paper, which isn't always fun. Plus, the short length makes it hard for me to connect with anything. What's the point of naming your porn after a character who basically disappears after the first few pages? There are plot points thrown in about how the slime takes over the body to spread like a disease, but while that is interesting and paves the way for more slime sex scenes, the book just ends before it really gets going. Slime has never really been my thing, but even I feel like people who are interested in that genre are going to be left unsatisfied with this. You're better off reading something a lot more intense with a lot more flavor.
