How will he cope now that he's deprived of his ki?

Meanwhile, graffiti in praise of the Nine-Doors Dragon begins appearing all around the world for all to see, and the Murim Alliance must react quickly. The Soldiers Under Command are on the move; will it be possible to stop them before the destruction of the world as we know it?

“Murim,” we are told is a word, for the martial-arts world of Korea, in the sense of a martial arts underground. Here murim families rule, the same way criminal families do in yakuza or other underworld scenarios. Our protagonist is left, after the events of an earlier series, with no internal energy—ki—at all. Unable to fight, Si-woon, turns to a life he's never known before, going to school like a normal kid his age.

That lasts about a week.

With the families his former master defeated out for revenge, Si-woon is once again embroiled in the complexities of murim politics…and battles against other fighters. If you like the kind of martial arts that involve people screaming out their styles and attack names, you will love this story. If you like actual martial arts fighting, maybe not so much. Also, perhaps not if you like strong female characters who are not sexualized, because here all girls are ogle-bait. It's supposed to be funny sometimes. It's not.

Si-woon is, as one might expect, ultra-super-over-powered, but at the moment he can't unlock his power. He picks up a busty protector named Jenny and the two of them get him a new master, so future chapters will definitely include him powering up and fighting against stronger opponents as the gods of action comics starring young men intended.
