Rurouni Kenshin is over, done, finito, it has ceased to be.
Now that I've covered that, let's move on. At this point the only way to watch Rurouni Kenshin would be to purchase it on dvd. You could also download it. I'll humor myself and guess you might plan to buy it on dvd. http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=MBI020227 http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=MBI020247 http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=MBI020267 http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=ADV004182 The cheapest you'll find them. Enjoy. Sorry if I sound annoyed. I'm just getting so sick of answering that question and that someone would not have noticed it stopped airing by now and was not coming back amazes me. |

Actually, it was a Japanese Christian who knew Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu, who was trying to make a safe haven for other Japanese Christians like himself. A crappy arc in itself, but yeah, the religious aspects were considered a bit taboo for CN. |

They decided later that they made a mistake by airing Kenshin on Toonami, but they had more sense than to screw fans by putting the edited version on Adult Swim. Good move in my book. |

CN showed the best parts of Kenshin anyway, nobody is missing anything by them stoping before the last arch.

I hope they will air Rurouni Kenshin again on TV. I always enjoyed watching it every Saturday night.

Why did they decide that it was a mistake? For the fact that they can't show the end of it because of the religious aspects? |

Because they had to mutilate the rest of it for violent content. The religious arc had almost nothing to do with it, go back and read Kyle Pope's Edit Lists and you'll see the real reasons. |

That's not entirely true. The main reason was that there was not enough kids watching RK. The audience seemed to be the same age group as Adult Swim targets. Unfortunately for the viewers, they don't really want to shuttle programs from toonami to Adult Swim. |

Like I stated ages ago, this world is made up of two people, the unintellegint and ill conceived people, and the happy people. Cartoon Network would fall in the unintellegint category.
