Question I was wondering if anyone else found some printing errors in their October 2004 issue of Shonen Jump?

The problems: I noticed that starting from what should be page 81 (in the middle of Hikaru No Go), the pages are now upside-down and out-of-order. The upside-down, out-of-order pages are a mix of both the Shaman King and the Hikaru No Go mangas. By page 145, the pages are rightside-up and in order again. Shocked

Question Should I contact Viz/Shonen Jump and inform them of this mistake?

No, i didn't notice anything like that. I bet it was just with one batch. But yeah, if you have such a problem, contact Viz about it.

Yea. Some people will pay big bucks for defective anime merchandise.Or keep it. A nice addition to your anime collection.

I'm glad that nothing was wrong with your copy. You're probably right; one batch of the magazines somehow must have got mixed up on the printing machines. Of course, it may also just be me and my bad luck. Things like this just seem to find their way to me. Laughing

Sounds good (I could always use more money lol), but then I wouldn't have it in my collection. Wink

It will fit into my collection nicely. I have a misprinted Dragon Ball Z manga to keep it company. Wink (Also, have a Shonen Jump issue that came without its DBZ card. It was ordered from Viz's online store and it arrived sealed in plastic, but that card was no where inside the book. Confused )

I'm not sure if you did so already or not, but you do know about the section about missing/damaged issues on the Shonen Jump website right? It's under the Subscribe button there. I've never used it myself, didn't find it until after my first subscription expired... otherwise I would have for issue #4 which was really damaged in mailing, but still mostly readable. Anyway, perhaps this could fall under damaged... Confused

For a long time, I wasn't aware of their missing/damaged section, either. I found it on Monday and declared my misprinted issue as "damaged", so in 4-6 weeks I should get a brand new issue #22. Very Happy Like you, I wish I had found this section earlier. Oh well, better late than never. Wink

Thanks for the help.
