Umm...What? I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're saying. Please, try not to be vague when posting.

Ninja Scroll DVD - 120 PLN (polish money). In the US that would be about 30$. But, it is a hell alot for us. Imagine paying 90-100$ for this DVD and you will know what it is for us.

Perfect Blue DVD - 150 PLN. Imagine paying 110$.

GTO. About 10 Discs. Every disc - 80 PL. Imagine paying 60-70$ for a disc with about 4 episodes.

Bebop (VHS). One VHS (with 3 episodes) costs 30-40 PLN. Imagine paying 20$ for it

That is just the begginig nof the list but I guess you get the general idea. I swear to God, I want ORIGINALS! But the market isnt making it easy for me... though I will buy the GTO disc. But I wont delete my Ninja Scroll fansub.

The only DVDs that I AM ABSOLUTELY sure are legit, and which I did not have to smuggle back into Singapore from overseas are my "Spirited Away" and "The Cat Returns" ones, among a few others (can't remember). They cost about SGD$39.90 for 2 DVDs, the actual movie plus the extras on the other DVD.

That's about USD$22.50.

USA is pretty cheap when it comes to DVDs, but some stores are more expensive than others. You could pay $20 for one at one store and find the same thing for $30 at another.

Usually all the very long series like Dragonballz or Case Closed are about $15.99-$19.99.

26 Episode series like Azumanga Daioh and Cowboy Bebop are $29.99.

OAV's are also usually $29.99.

Thats for the United States.

I mourn, since there are literally NO original DVD's in my area, at least to my knowledge. I usually get my anime on fansubs, and import it from the states. And even though you CAN find some homemade DVD's around here, they're usually more expensive than the originals I import. Shocked

All I can say is eBay. Best prices anywhere, and many sellers ship worldwide.

Yea if you want bootleg since 90% of the anime dvd being sold there are bootleg. Plus the low prices is too temping for people to not buy it. Just make sure you look for the legit R1 dvd.

Anime DVD are one of the most expensive dvds. Regular movies don't even retail for 30 buck. But compare to other countries, I guess it's cheap. That's why a lot of people from other country rely so much on fansub to get thier anime fix.

Most DVDs in Australia are A$27-35. Which is around US$19-25. Very cheap, but the standard of quality isn't as high as US versions. *sniffs*

After a little while you get keen on telling which things are bootleg without even looking at the item description. Besides, many series don't even have bootlegs on eBay for some reason.

Then looks like Spain is also a cheap cuntry. It depends in what you're looking for.

Wolf's Rain- DVD's of 5 chapters plus extras, 18 €, which are 22,14 USD$.

Boogiepop Phantom- DVD's of 2 chapters without extras, 24 €, which are 29,52 USD$.

Another company,

NieA Under 7- DVD's of 4 chapters plus extras, 12 €, which are 14,76 USD$

KareKano- DVD's of 5 chapters without extras, 18 €, which are 22,14 USD$.

I'm not an expert about my country prices. I'll just go out to get some information and complete it^^

if i were goin ebay i wouldn't really care what it was what ever was cheapest and didn't have say like cost 20$ to ship from hk or something then i would buy it. Look at some websites in spain. Kimagure Orange Road, spelled Johnny y Sus Amigos in spanish you get around 10 episodes, 250 mins for 20 euros which would be pretty cheap in american money

I also want to say that the prices in Poland COULD be lower because we have recently been accepted into the European Union so we should get more anime companies in our market.
BUT still, today there is NOT ONE SINGLE POLISH company here. All the anime DVD/VHS are brought here by German branch companies.
