I think there was something about some kind of a spinoff/sidestory. It was something about some people during the events of Code Geass, not sure if it's gonna even offer any cameos.

There's a spinoff in production called Code Geass Gaiden: Akito of the Ruined Land, but it's not R3. It's about a group of Brittanian soldiers fighting in Europe during the events of the first season of Code Geass.

Yeah hopefully it comes to the US quick. It sounds pretty cool.
However it would also be pretty funny if they also made the new "Barcode Geass" manga into an anime. |
