Ya know what my MonHun friend said when he read this manga?
It didn't properly reflect the planning and preparation that goes into a monster hunt.

To be fair...there's not much planning and preparations in most monster hunts unless you're a gunner. The guild provides you with most the items you need at the start.
The only problems with this manga is that they didn't properly depict the true dangers of Monster Hunter...tiny minions charging towards you outside of your peripheral vision while in the middle of a hunt.
I find it funny that the manga is meant for 8-10 year old when the game Monster Hunter is would be something a typical 8-10 year old would rage quit in a day. No quick-times. No auto-aim. No regenerating health. And no merciful vulnerable periods on bosses. etc.
