Wow, out of all the weird shows they could make a live-action of I'm amazed the producers were able to secure funding for this kind of show. Is arakawa really that popular in Japan, or is a certain group of otakus pouring all of their money into Arakawa related items?

When I first heard about this, I was disappointed that the news wasn't for a new anime season, but after watching this trailer, I'm pretty excited for this live action film.

Movie looks to be capturing the same insanity that was found in the anime. The50Kaitenz song is an added plus. (Been a fan of theirs for almost five years.)

Given the authorship of Hikaru Nakamura, the creator of Saint Young Men, and good sales of manga, then there is no question about the popularity of practice.

I'm really excited for the movie coming out. Especially since there's three people from Hana Kimi in this drama~.
Plus, it's cute to see Oguri Shun as a kappa. <3
