I remember seeing the rather butchered OVA, which was marketed as the "second movie" ?
 As well as the "first?" movie. Both were unrelated and both made little sense. However having said that, if one is looking for a real kick ass anime with lots of spurtting blood. the movies will deliver satisfaction. The dub wasn't too bad though the technical quality was appalling. I haven't seen the manga, but I've read that it is way better than the anime, as usual. I wonder if the TV series will have as much bloody fighting?

Becasue it was on TV, there won't be the gallons of blood like the OVAs, but there is still tons of great fights.

Having watched this series, I have to wonder a bit about the sanity of whoever decided to spend money on it.
As for bloody battles, well, you're going to get more generic angst that blood. |
