I'm looking for mystery manga kind of similar to Monster or 20th Century Boys. I know that there are not many mystery/suspense manga that can compare to both those titles but I'm open for just about anything in those genres.

The only mysterty-mystery manga I've ever read was Detective Conan as a little kid but I'm assuming you want something more "grown-up" ^^; Try Count Cain and it's continuation, God's Child. The drawings are great and definitely there is suspense

I enjoy the Kindaichi Case Files. It's kind of got that Case Closed vibe but with a teenager in the lead plus the cases are much more detailed.

I dont think you can get something equally great as Monster and 20thCB, but other mystery manga that I enjoyed include:
- Spiral;
I never researched it but it seems it was based on the anime series, which in my oppinion was GREAT. Really cool and moreover INTELLIGENT mysteries and riddles make it a manga-to-remember.
- Psychometer Eiji;
More and action/shounen series really, it follows the adventures of Eiji, a high school delinquent with an unique gift of psychometry, a sort of "power" that allows you to read emotions imprinted in objects etc. Teamed with a sexy police detective he solves crimes and catches murderers It doesn`t have kids in it, and some fighting scenes are great.

I swear I posted this last night, but its not here...anyways
My suggestion was Death Note. Its not a mystery, just mysterious. It has the same type of suspense as 20th. Its like 20th, except you already know who Friend is and you're rooting for him, kinda.

I second Death Note. Not just as a mystery type manga, but as an amazing manga (so far) that everyone should check out. :X

Death Note....I've seen pics of that manga before and it looks very interesting........But is it even out in America, yet? I want to read it....
Hmmm.......I haven't read much mystery-type genres, but I do second on Spiral. A really good anime mystery-genre series! Though I haven't read the manga (which I dont think it has a realese date yet) I think the manga would be just as good ^ ^

I'm on volume 3 and it's very well done. Volume 1 comes out in America on October 4th. I'm definitely picking that up, and probably getting some of the Japanese version as well.

I think Death Note is good mystery to read.
