Well thank God.
This better be the best arc of the series.

Huh, so there is an ending to Bleach after all? No more:

"Is Bleach over?"
"Never."

jokes. I'm gonna miss those.

Praise Tezuka!

But, be ready: in 20 years, "Bleach nostalgia" will strike us. Very Happy

Just remember, the Arrancar arc took 4 years and a bit to complete so it could still take a while to end.

few months ago it was said that Bleach "end" was planned. If I recall correctly, it was something like "last arc to be in 8 months, last arc to last 15 months".

To be honest, Tite Kubo should have resolved more of the story before the end of the Deicide Arc and ended it with spoiler[the defeat of Aizen] instead of moving onto the Fullbring Arc.

However, didn't Kubo say in a recent interview that he felt the series was only half done? So doesn't that mean the series has been effectively cancelled, but allowed to draw itself to a close?

So it'll be down to Naruto and One Piece after that, huh? And I kinda suspected Bleach was ending, 'cus of those 3-in-1s. Does that mean the other supermanga will be next? I wonder if Shueisha can handle that, or has contigency plans to handle it. Kenshin and YuGiOh were apparently hits for SJ, but not as big as DB and Slam Dunk when they ended.

well, this is good news. It got very crappy as soon as they went into hueco mundo. I stopped reading not long after Ichigospoiler[ lost his powers].

I might start reading again sometime soon then. might pick up the newer volumes and continue reading from the point where the arrancars started showing up.

While the Arrancar arc was still going on Kubo said there would be a short arc after it (the fullbring arc) and then a very long arc to close Bleach. Then, I believe it was at the 2010 jump festa he said bleach would continue for around 10 years.

So odds are that this final arc will be the longest in bleach history.

I think you're thinking of Oda, not Kubo.

Yeah, Oda gets to decide when he's had enough. Kubo's balls have been on the line for some time now.

He's been on the arse end of the ratings since the start of the Chapter Black Arc. I think, just think people are starting to think the story is becoming YYH like, to say the very least.

I think you're thinking of Oda, not Kubo.

While Oda said he wanted One Piece to reach 1,000 chapters, Tite Kubo said that he expected Bleach to last another 10 years as well (considering it was said on Bleach's 10th anniversary, another ten years would mean half way through).

I'd like to point out that "final arc" does not mean "ending soon". Naruto for example has been on what;s probably it's last arc for almost 2 years now and we're just getting towards the climax, and given how Kubo loves to drag things on in Bleach...I'd say we're still 5-8 years for the end unless JUMP forces him to speed things up.

Yeah, it's not ending anytime soon. The last arc was five years long.
