That was amazing but I don't think they would allow it.
SNK attempted to make an Akira tribute with the character K999 but he got removed from every game

I saw this on Crunchyroll yesterday. Quite a lot of dedication these guys had. Props!

I find this parody of The Simpsons and Akira to be quite good.

The Bartkira book they did a while back was pretty sweet. Glad to see more come from this concept.

Because japanese copyright law has no safe use/parody safe harbor and SNK is a japanese company.

Yeah, I found the "Please don't sue us" bit pretty amusing.

I've heard about the lack of such laws--I wonder if that's the reason why I seem to find most Japanese parodies as rather toothless.
I do hear South Park has a pretty dedicated niche though. But maybe the Japanese media is more lenient with works not of Japanese origin.

Alright I've come to nitpick. Technically, shouldn't it be "バートキラ" or "バァトキら"? Something like that to make the "a" sound longer for the "r". Just "バトキラ" makes it "Batkira". Ok, that's it. As far as I could tell that was the only "problem". It was pretty amusing and I enjoyed it. :3

That was pretty good. I bet half audience who may see it has no clue what Akira was.
